Side Note

So, Several people have been arriving on the farm with stomache ailments. Gina was mentioning e.coli- we dont have any reason to be believe anyone got sick on the farm, and I have been a perfect freak about water cleanliness and Annie made a huge warsh yer hands sign in the kitchen. The minor epidemic seems to have passed... FYI, Tina

Other WAY COOL NeverLand News Blog site

Hey You Guys!
I just found this great Blog site by Gina. She writes more about the farm than we see here, Lots and lots more! Everyone go check it out-- http://ginamariewilson.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_ginamariewilson_archive.html
Gina was here for several months, she has gone now to meet her parents, trip around and then onto to meet her own destiny (we cant wait to meet Chris)! Her stuff is great, loads of farm life info.

Back on the Farm

Hi All! Well, I have not gotten to the farm yet, slept at Marthas house lst night, and met Patricio with the car today. 4 More girls coming out to the farm this pm, I will meet them at 3pm, will be 9 woman caring for the place. Great news to get home to, we have a new calf- male, and Barbie my dog had 4 pups on Friday!!
The farm news is good, will see it today. I had to return on the bus to Loja the city to pick up my luggage. Now I must taxi back to Vilca, unpack some and then drive the crew home. Big crew- I dont know if we ever had a population this big of only women. I doubt it. SHould be great. I have to move today, decide where I want my room now. I was in the parachute room but it is not secure, cannot lock the door. So I am not sure if I should install my stereo and so on. If ever the farm is completely empty it would be easy to step in and borrow anything. This has never happened but I guess its instictual anymore to lock the door when you leave home. I hate it, this feeling of not being able to trust its OK to leave everything whereever I want. I may do it anyway, I really like this room.
JEANIE LONDON FREIDENBERG is the owner of the next farm, or will be when we close (which will happen as soon as I can get into town and get the papers drawn up). Jeanie is letting me administer the farm and is the most wonderful person, a camper and hiker who is not at all afraid of mud. She says now she will have a refuge in S America! The farm will stay organic and needs a bunch of work, so now that NeverLand is perfect, more or less, we need to fix up Shambala- aka the other side. I hope to make a wish list of stuff we need, but a turbine and set up for hydroelectric seems a priority! And fix the road, build Jeanie a HUGE house (she says she needs more closet space than anythng else- dont we all). This is gonna be so much fun I just gotta get home and get started! COme join us!
So off I go. I will not be online or able to communicate for a few days. I am tired and just want to be home and cmfy for a while! I told my patients that I would do prenatal exams on Saturday. I have one birth pending NOW but she lives close enough to send someone for me at home. I guess I will have to let Patricio take the car or horse home everyday in case he needs to get me fast. Always interesting here! Gotta go see our new puppies and bask in all this feminine energy, Love and Peace to all, Tina

angels everywhere

Hi All! Just a quick note to say that an jewish angel from Richmond Virginia, USA, pitched in today and bought the new farm. So we now will own the entire in the week. I will post the story later, but suffice it to say that without any signed papers and simply from her heart Jeannie wrote me a check for 15000. to buy the rest of the farm. I plan to post her address later and ask everyone to write her, send pictures and stories. She gave us agift too large to even imagine, I am so happy and grateful and relieved I cannot say. Stay tuned for more news on the gardens and planting that is gonna happen! Much love to all of ya, Tina
