Money Issues

HI All! Well, things on the farm are all pretty good. Except the gardens are not currently producing very much. This is a result of my broken leg, the farm being closed for a while and a draught that has left us pretty dry. We still have the creek but gardens are down. They are getting plenty of compost at the minute, as well as much weeding and love, so as soon as the rains begin, plant plant plant! Then we can be more sustainable. SO. In the mean time. We need to ask everyone to pitch in. We have decided to ask a 4.25 usd a day contribution (more is fine if you insist). This covers an instructor, who teaches agriculture, alternative building, spanish and is now certiied to teach how to control wild fires (prevent slash and burn agriculture), as well as all food, board, everything but your trip here. We hate to do it, but cannot afford the number of volunteers who want to come without doing something. We eat like kings and queens, both vegetarian and meat are served nearly daily. Hikes to the waterfalls and nearby sites happen all the time, as well as local fiestas to which we are always invited. And sometimes we provide the entertainment! We are producing loads of fruit, so juices and such are a daily thing. Salad from our organic garden is also nearly a daily affair.
I am hoping our links to directions and some new info will get added here soon, keep checking for more. Lyndon Wwoof is trying to get me a little more organized, he seems able! We hope to publish a big update soon... In the meantime, I miss all you lost boys out there and wish you would all come home, especially Lucas and 27! And Eitan, and so many more. Let me know how you all are, and where. Safe travels to you beginner NeverLanders, hope lots of you come soon... the more the merrier you know! Peace, Angel y Tina
